Congratulations

Congratulations to the Westfield Football team!  After going 3-7 last year, this year they were able to turn things around and finish 12-2 coming up just short to Cathedral in the 5A State Championship Game.  While the last game did not go the way they wanted, the Shamrocks certainly have plenty to be proud of this year.  Way to go guys!

Indianapolis #1 City For College Graduates

Indianapolis was recently ranked #1 in the nation for new college graduates.  See the full article here on the Indy Star website.  The 1.9 percent unemployment rank was a major factor.  The cost of living for Indy was the lowest of any of the major cities in the country that were ranked in this list.  Those of us already living here know what a great place the Indianapolis area is, but it is always nice to get some national recognition.

Memorial Day

As we spend this day with family and friends, I want to say thank you.  Thank you to all of those grandparents, aunt, uncles, parents, siblings, spouses, children, and friends that have served in our armed forces to protect the wonderful freedoms that we enjoy in this country.  Your bravery and selflessness is what makes you a hero.  Regardless of what branch you served in, where you served, when you served, or what you did while serving, your willingness to put your life on hold to selflessly protect this great country of ours makes you a hero.  Makes you my hero.  To those who have fallen, those who have lost a parent, spouse, child, aunt, uncle, loved one, or close friend...know that you are in our prayers and our hearts hurt for you and your loss.  There is nothing that can take that pain away, but I pray that God would hold you close and comfort you.

To all of our heroes.  To the families of our heroes...
