Memorial Day

As we spend this day with family and friends, I want to say thank you.  Thank you to all of those grandparents, aunt, uncles, parents, siblings, spouses, children, and friends that have served in our armed forces to protect the wonderful freedoms that we enjoy in this country.  Your bravery and selflessness is what makes you a hero.  Regardless of what branch you served in, where you served, when you served, or what you did while serving, your willingness to put your life on hold to selflessly protect this great country of ours makes you a hero.  Makes you my hero.  To those who have fallen, those who have lost a parent, spouse, child, aunt, uncle, loved one, or close friend...know that you are in our prayers and our hearts hurt for you and your loss.  There is nothing that can take that pain away, but I pray that God would hold you close and comfort you.

To all of our heroes.  To the families of our heroes...
